Beth, it looks like I sent an incomplete response. I’ve done some more checking. It appears that “my” Gilbert Cathcart was also known as Gabriel and might be the same Gabriel you reference. I show Mary Cathcart Thompson, wife of Samuel Thompson, is the daughter of Gilbert and Margaret Steel Cathcart. Yours and my dates aren’t quite the same though. A kind person recently sent me photos from Gilbert/Gabriel and Margaret’s grave in the Kilcronaghan Old Graveyard. These photos were taken just a week ago.
