Searching for collateral roots -- Robert Henderson (Bob) Mitchell (sp. Henrietta), Kitchener, Ontario

I'm hoping this appeal finds base with someone in the Kitchener area, in Ontario ......
Several years ago (in the paper/postal mail days!), I corresponded with Bob Mitchell in Kitchener, and his lovely wife Henrietta (Shearer). Sadly this delightful couple have since passed, and I'm really keen to make contact with any of their close family.
Robert Henderson (Bob) Mitchell died on 27 May 2019 at the age of 91, just a year and a few months after his wife Henrietta Adeline (nee Shearer) who passed away on 5 December 2017. This family has roots in Donagheady parish, co. Tyrone. I am busy transcribing an Irish land memorial registered in 1812 (newly discovered through FamilySearch) which suggests that our families were even more closely related than Bob and I had suspected.
Any help, guidance or advice would be most appreciated.
