Ssome years ago, while riding the backroads of eastern Missouri, I rounded
a bend on a two lane road with a freshly painted, single yellow line
down the middle.
Ahead I could see a bump in the line, and soon discovered the striping crew
had failed to remove a dead squirrel from their path. Yep, a new yellow
strip adorned his/her mid-section for all who passed to see.....

That's awesome, Fred. My squirrel story……. 1980. 24 yrs old. Riding my unfaired KZ1000 out to Colorado from Jersey to join up with a buddy to tour the western US. Middle of the night on Route lemonty-seven in butt-f*ck nowhere, and out of nowhere am LAUNCHED into the air by some large “soft” object lying in the middle of the road. Never went back to see what it was, as I was trying to keep all the snot from coming out of my ass in fright. Always assumed/guessed it was an armadillo.
