Somehow, Rossi is willing this championship into his hands.

Dani taking out Nicky (completely reckless, on the curb, lap 2 - WTF Dani),
all but seals the deal for Rossi.  I'm confident now that he has the points
lead, he'll just cruise in the last race, make the calculations, and know
where he needs to be for the championship victory.

Sucks for Nicky - I've never seen the dude mad ever, and he was absolutely
fuming.  He's done everything right, but it's just not in the cards for him
this year.  8 points down to a grizzled veteran.  Bummed, but there's
always next year right?

Toni Elias?  Best late braking I've ever seen.  Dude might have a future!

Can't wait for the season finale!

Super bummed for Nicky-his face was the epitome of pure fury after that overly optimistic move by Dani.

Going to be tough for Nicky, but anything can happen-it ain’t over ‘til it’s over!!!

We’ll see what happens at the finale!

Crap! So much for a big Rossi, Hayden battle.

I'm a big fan of both these riders, but especially Dani, the little
featherweight who was considered incapable of handling and winning on one
of these machines, but how can Dani ever face Nicky, or his fans again, or
how will I ever be able to mention his name again without cursing from
others? I'm guessing there will be Nicky fans who will never forgive Dani.

Yeah, your team mate is the first person you want to beat, but also the
last person you want to take out.

So, what's it look like now for Valencia? The math still gives Nicky a
decent chance to win the championship, but considering how Rossi has been
riding the past 5 races, it does not look good.

Valencia next: last race, big race.

So if I’m correct, this is the breakdown of Nicky/Rossi finishes at the last round in order for Nicky to win outright without a tie-breaker

If Nicky wins, Rossi can finish no higher than 8th
If Nicky comes in 2nd, Rossi can finish no higher than 13th
If Nicky comes in 3rd, Rossi would have to finish outside the points

Like Pags said………….. not looking good.
