NO SPOILER
NO SPOILER
Not that there's much to spoil yet (oops, maybe I should not have said
that).
It rained a bit, but nothing compared to a couple of years ago, when they
had to suspend the race due to the downpour.
I grabbed another 3 seconds of fame, waving my Valentino tribute from the
grandstands (you can see me in P2 at 3:45 into the video - the guy in the
Pedrosa hat waving a Grazie Vale motorcycle drawing).
Overall, the event felt pretty safe. One rule was: wear a mask the entire
time you are in the venue. People did not follow it so strictly, but I only
saw masks off in areas of zero to minimal risk. It was the train ride back
to Valencia that got a bit worrisome. Everyone was properly masked, and,
hopefully, at least 70% were vaccinated, but, still, we were packed in
pretty tight, and the ride was just under an hour, with about 20 minutes of
that sitting at various points while waiting for,....
It has been such a treat to be back at Ricardo Tormo, and to be here for
Vale's last race. And, there's two more days to go!
