This got filtered by the list so I am posting it for Steve:

Jim et al.:

I've been a big fan of Bring A trailer for some time. Yes it can be a huge time suck but is very informative, keeps you up to date on the market place (at least a small piece, between Bonhams / Mecum and e-bay/craigslist), and more often than not vehicles come up that you actually give serious consideration to. You can get auto notifications of auctions meeting any number of criteria and the photo / text documentation on the vehicles is second to none. The site has bid history and info about every make / model and the sellers and running blog during the auction are mostly knowledgeable,  generally very informative, and frauds are quickly weeded out.

A side note for those of you who have serious 4-wheel collections / interests along side your Ducs, in particular Lotus of which I know many Duc owners who also worship Colin Chapman and his creations (Mr. Barber being one of them), check oiut this Lotus 11 that sold about the same time the Duc 175:

Cheers!

The clock also resets with each bid in the last 30 secs or so until no one submits another bid.
So while the auction may end in 1 min it may take 5-10mins for people to stop bidding.

How does this place work?  Is it like eBay where you go to where ever the
person lives that is selling or is it a location where all the bikes are
present?  I too have never looked at this site before.
