Surprisingly, the cake tasted perfectly good, although we erred on the side of caution after 3-1/2 yrs of frozen storage and only ate a bite or two in honor of the Legend. Apparently the cake was able to make it way past what would be considered normal in age and still perform well, just like Vale! Since I’m finally stepping back from my home remodeling business, I hope I get a fancy cake for myself from my brother…… In an interesting coincidence, Vale is 42 yrs old, and that is exactly how long I’ve run my business!
