Many thanks for the parish maps.

I see some people are confused regarding Clonfeacle Parish.

My Regan ancestors came from Blackwatertown in the parish of Clonfeacle. Blackwatertown sits right on the border of Tyrone and Armagh.

We visited in 2018 and you literally walk through the (small) town and cross from Tyrone to Armagh. Hence many records we have found show my ancestors in Blackwatertown, Clonfeacle Parish, Tyrone and Blackwatertown, Clonfeacle Parish, Armagh (with Armagh being the more popular).

From your Clonfeacle parish map, I have ascertained that Blackwatertown sits just to the right of Tullydowey, so therefore not listed in this Clonfeacle parish map.

So don't let Clonfeacle Parish confuse you. The entire Parish sits in both Tyrone and Armagh.

Again, many thanks for the maps and for all you do with the site.

Kind regards, Wayne Kedward, Sydney, Australia

Thanks Wayne, worth remembering.  And Jim has now said that there is a
Clintyclay right on the border to consider.
