Hi all,
KCBX has offered to be a drop-off point for musical instruments donated to
the Infinite Music Foundation. They’re a local nonprofit that provides
underserved youth music education, appreciation, and performance
opportunities (https://infinitemusic.org/). They also provide instruments
and are doing an instrument drive.
Starting Saturday, through March 31, will you please read this copy once
per shift:
If you have a musical instrument collecting dust, here’s a chance for it to
be put in the hands of a young musician in need. The Infinite Music
Foundation provides instruments, music education and performance
opportunities to underserved youth on the Central Coast. They’re doing an
instrument drive, and you can drop off instruments at KCBX. They are taking
all musical instruments except acoustic pianos, and they also take sound
equipment such as amplifiers, PAs, microphones and more. Just bring your
instruments to the KCBX studios Monday through Friday from 9:00 to 6:00 or
on the weekend from 9:00 to noon. We’re at 4100 Vachell Lane in San Luis
Obispo, on the corner of South Higuera.
I’m also putting this copy in each studio starting Friday night.
Thank you!
Marisa
