Eric, Lots of unplanned work, but think how much $$ you’re saving. I’m watching this one closely because I have the same bike, but a ‘95, albeit with only 24k on it. And, as I’m sure you know, Jim’s right.. springs just get tired after a while. But better fatigue than failure! It's not having as much tension on the fork arms as in the past. I know one of my early Ducatis a 1990 851 had a recall to replace the spring because it did not have enough tension.
