Hi all,
We’re celebrating “Cartober,” which is an October push to encourage our
listeners to donate a used vehicle (car, truck, boat, motorcycle, RV,
whatever). We take vehicles whether they’re running or not! We send the tow
truck to pick up the vehicle free of charge, so it’s super easy and
convenient. Donations are tax deductible, and proceeds pay for all of the
great programming on KCBX.
We have scheduled some scripts to read, but please read some scripts
whether they’re scheduled during your shift or not. I’m attaching some and
pasting them below. They’re also in the control room.
Tom di Santo just sent the attached picture of a car one of his Seattle
listeners donated. Thanks, Tom! Everybody, we love to see pictures of our
listeners saying goodbye to their cars, so please encourage them to send a
photo, along with a few words about why they donated to KCBX.
Thank you!
Marisa

KCBX.org and click on “Support KCBX” to get started.
:15) If you have a used vehicle of any type – from a clown car to a fishing
