That’s it. I’m sure Nicky’s championship is done. Rossi has a great race even if Cap ran away with it, but this was a disaster for the Kid.  Getting passed for another spot on the last corner is exactly what’s going to happen to him for the championship. I’m bummed for him.

Weirdly, and maybe it’s a Covid-19 thing, but these guys magically made the push to Malaysia from Brno overnight!  And Rossi is on pole continuing the momentum he’s gaining.  A confident Rossi is a dangerous Rossi.

Nicky still leads the championship but we’ll see.  This is why they race. Anything can happen.

Yea, seems like his mojo is running thin. Hard to imagine that he’s not going to get run over by one or more guts in the championship......looking forward to hearing Kevin’s take on the race, because he seems to be at every race around the world this year, even when they have races at Brno and Malaysia on consecutive days! That guy gets around, I tell ya!!!

Barring any more DNF’s for Rossi, my money is on him for the championship despite being more than a race win down.  He has the momentum and Nicky is struggling.

I could be wrong though.

Sorry for not writing sooner, I was totally wrapped up in getting from
Malaysia to Czechoslovakia so as to make both races. The medical screening
at the airport was grueling.

Great racing, For Malaysia, it was for the win, and for Brno, for 4th. I
really enjoyed watching most of my personal favorites (in alphabetical
order), Capirossi, Hayden, Pedrosa, and Rossi, battling it out so much,
with no major incidents. And, for the most part, there were not any of the
long, boring caravans that make one want to skip ahead a few laps to see if
anything has changed.

Nicky is really struggling, but I would not count him out yet. Interesting
how he immediately looked at his back tire after the race, as if it was the
problem. With some other riders, I would suspect showmanship ("it's not me,
it's the tire"), but with Nicky, you know it is genuine. BTW, I had totally
forgotten that they used with multiple tire suppliers.

And, BTW, completely NDC, but COVID-19 related, I got tested last weekend,
and it came up negative. So, I am okay,... for now. And, I can report that,
for the present, Kaiser Oakland is totally set up for any wave of patients
with Coronavirus.

Okay, races all done and dusted, time for a nap.
