Where did we see that phenomenon before? A ‘savant’ rider making a problematic bike looks so good that the factory doesn’t think there’s a problem?

There is no asterisk in the championship records. No one will remember in 10-15 years MM was out with an injury.
From a competitor stand point you always want to beat the best. But a championship is a championship no matter how it is won. Period.
