Ducati is marketing to a whole different demographic now. That is part of
the issue. We old farts (I'll be 70 next month) who love the lines of
classic MVs and Ducatis are buying smaller, lighter, less powerful bikes as
we age out.
Also think part of the problem of the whole V4 range is the engine. You
have to really be pushing it if you think it is in any way attractive. It
is a LARGE lump with a bunch of hoses and wires. Concealed under a
fairing, not so bad, but in the guise of Multistrada, Diavel (coming!) or
Streetfighter, no real way to conceal it. Granted it is a masterpiece of
engineering, but aesthetically - blah....Even the existing V4 Streetfighter
is a little too Transformer-ish to me, but hey, just my humble opinion....
But, they won't be getting my money, which is my point....

I loved it. Absolutely. I put my name on the list but to be honest I'm

No one else I know except one other guy liked it. Including the wife.
What can I do now? 😂
Maybe I'm biased. I do like the bold neon colors, my own track bike wheels
(fúcsia?) do look great in person and in action pictures.
Worth mentioning that the US is Ducati's biggest market (I think, still),
and they've had VERY strong sales numbers recently. Hate to say it, but
it's clearly not about just us old farts. ;-)
