Let's hope Kawi brings back the beautifully designed and wildly popular DB3 Mantra.  Seriously, resurrecting the stillborn V-Due 2-stroke would be interesting.

Because my first bike was a Kawasaki GPz550. Which I bought because I saw Jimmy Filice keep up with Eddie Lawson at Laguna Seca in 1981 and Jimmy and I are the same size.  And I had never seen a full-fairing bike before I saw the KB2.  The KB2 used the GPz550 as it's base, therefore I knew I could ride it and if Jimmy could ride a KZ1000, I could ride a KB2.  And it looked like nothing else on the planet at the time. The pictures of that perfectly welded frame just wowed me.  The Cycle issue with it on the cover is burned into my brain and I sill have that magazine, sealed in a gallon freezer bag.

I've only ever seen one for sale, it was a couple of years ago and it went for north of $60K.  So much for fantasies....

100% agree - to go against the FZ07 and SV650 - would need some serious
power improvements though to compete!

Or how about a RC790 that KTM has yet to build?  Maybe bimota could build a
ktb1.  I added an extra letter so it would not be confused with the
Kawasaki bikes.  Hey dreaming is free.
