I know we've talked about shipping motorcycles, within the US and across the pond, but this situation is a bit different. How do I ship my Cucciolo (including that cute little motor) from California to Spain? What might be importation regulations regarding this? My experience going the other way was this: I bought this beauty from someone in Europe. When it arrived at in San Francisco, I had to go to Customs to bring it in. The agent would not accept my explanation that it is a motorized bicycle, a bicycle with a motor attached. According to them, it could only be a motorcycle or a bicycle. I said it was a bicycle, and we were done (after I paid some substantial fees). So, going the other way, does anyone know what I might expect, what questions I might need to answer, and what my answers should be. i would love to tootle around Catalunya on this little puppy, but need to get it here first.
