My ancestor was a member of the Water Lily Lodge 229 in Belfast. I am told that this was the Free Gardeners group, who were modeled after the masons.
Has anyone heard of this organization or have ancestors who belonged?
I am attaching my ancestor’s death announcement that encourages Water Lily Lodge members to attend his funeral.
