Hello! Our own Greg Perry has been diligently working on a new system to reserve studios for recording your show. As I mentioned late last year, the previous system, Skedda, eliminated their "free" tier and wanted to start charging $50 per month! The new system utilizes "The Hive" which is an internal KCBX website that offers many handy links for use by KCBX staff and volunteers. https://www2.kcbx.org/thehive/ Once signed in to The Hive you'll see a list of handy links along the right side of the screen. Under "On Air" links you'll see links for Production Studio Reservations land Studio X Reservations. Select the studio you want, then the desired day. The studios are reserved in 30 minute blocks. If the studio has been reserved by somebody else, their blocks will be grayed-out. If you need it for three hours, you'll select the desired six boxes, then provide your name and email address, There is also a place to include Special Requests. That could be for extra microphones, if you also need use of Studio B (The room adjacent to the Production studio, aka Pledge Central), or if you'll be needing the Telos telephone system to record phone interviews, or anything else you might need. You will be sent a confirmation email that contains links to either edit your reservation, or to delete it. To receive login credentials, please email Greg gperry@kcbx.org and he'll hook you up.
