All on-air staff and volunteer meeting March 5, please RSVP
Hi on air folks,
We’re going to have our on-air staff and volunteer meeting in three weeks.
It’s scheduled for Wednesday, March 5th in the KCBX classroom.
Dinner will be available for those who want to partake (we’ll have better
food than last time). Please RSVP to Neal (neal@kcbx.org ) and me ASAP,
let us know if you will eat and if you are a vegetarian.
We’ll have updates regarding our new studios and our 50th anniversary. It’s
also a great chance to see/meet your fellow hosts, learn about the station,
and share your ideas or concerns. We talk about important things at
these meetings, so we hope you can come. Plus, we love seeing you in person.
We’ll start with mingling and beverages at 5:30, and the meeting will start
promptly at 6:00. We promise to be done by 7:30, latest.
As usual, we’ll have a message from Frank about the state of the station.
You’ll hear from our new news director, Monica Lopez. Chris will update us
on fundraising and pledge drive, Hank on Operations, Neal on music, and
Marisa on programming.
If there’s anything you’d like us to address, or if there’s something you’d
like to share or something you’d like staff to address, please let me know
by Monday, 3/3. We will take some time to go around the room and introduce
ourselves. Please be prepared to share something about your show or
yourself.
