I live in Las Vegas, Nevada. I’ve done a ride over the dam, down HWY 93 to Kingman, then over the mountains thru some little cowboy town to Laughlin, then back to Vegas. Most rides out of Las Vegas, involve many freeway miles.  I like  the ride to Utah, through Brian Head, Ceader Breaks, then down to the back side of Zion.

Yeah..that Bandit is beasty and comfortable for sure.
I had an ‘81 GS-1186.
Kit, carbs, pipe, etc. It ripped and was all day comfortable.
That road to Jerome is nice…keep going to Prescott for more red desert, as you know.
Jerome, AZ…the oldest silver mine in the USA and can still be toured, unless COVID.
Sounds like a fun trip…from wherever you’re starting.
