Hi everyone! Today KCBX News Director Benjamin Purper did an awesome job on
All Things Considered, reporting about the vote to keep Diablo open. He
stayed up all night working, since the vote didn’t happen until after 1am.
Then he recorded an interview with NPR’s Ailsa Chang this afternoon. Here
it is, so you can listen, in case you missed it:

https://www.npr.org/2022/09/01/1120599954/california-lawmakers-move-to-keep-the-states-last-nuclear-plant-open

And here’s the story he created for KCBX News:

https://www.npr.org/2022/09/01/1120599954/california-lawmakers-move-to-keep-the-states-last-nuclear-plant-open

Go Ben!

As a Morning Edition host, I had a complete story on this really important
topic for our listeners- just hours after the 'middle of the night'
decision. News reporting at its best, Ben!
