Thanks all. Pags, I’m kinda done with ads and all the tracking and cookie-following. However, I’m aware of the initial value of a cookie. And so much more since most of American sites are conforming to the recent(?) euro guideline for cookies… the GDPR. Essentially; we’re gonna track you and mail you with ads, but we’re just going to tell you. And since IP is a locator, we will get location based ads…(especially with IPV6) I’m just looking at ways around… if possible. I know the VPN provider still knows your origin, but I’m on Verizon (Ajit Pai?) and they are not to be trusted. And, George, I suspected that might be an issue.. certain sites rejecting the connection. I don’t remember what it costs but I can’t tell I’m using it, speed or otherwise so I guess it’s worth the $.
