Hi everyone, I have to say how proud I am of our team as we scrambled today to make sure the news of Biden's withdrawal from the presidential race was relayed to our listeners in a timely manner. I coordinated everything from my COVID sickbed -- starting even before I got word from NPR, thanks to a heads-up via text from Kim Foster. Special thanks are below. First, I want to alert everyone to be ready for us to switch to special coverage at any time throughout the week. Biden will speak to the nation at some point. I expect Kamala Harris will, too. And there may be press conferences and who knows what else. I'm still sick, but I'm on the mend, so I can keep everyone coordinated when the need arises.
