Hi all!
This is a reminder that on Friday, January 12th, House of Bread is hosting
KCBX for a community social and happy hour. Please promote it by including
the script below during your shifts at between now and the event date. The
script is also in each of the studios.
Also, remember that all KCBX staff and on-air hosts get the first drink on
us! We’d love it if you’d come mingle with our listeners and each other.
Here’s the promo. Feel free to riff on it and make it sound like it came
out of your own head:
On Friday, January 12th, you’re invited to come meet the people you hear
on KCBX. We’re having a social and happy hour at the House of Bread in San
Luis Obispo. Fifty-percent of your food and drink purchases will support
KCBX, and you’ll have a chance to chat with the people who keep your public
radio station going. Music Director, Neal Losey and News Director, Gabriela
Fernandez will be behind the bar, and many of our show hosts and our news
team will be there, too. That’s Friday, January 12th from 4:00 to 6:00 at
the House of Bread. Hope to see you there!

squeeze in one of these:* "...House of Bread at 1025 Farmhouse"*, *"...House
