$2M for morbidelli when thousands of basketball players make more than that
and have 10 year contracts. The whole thing is fucking broken.
You are correct. NONE of these people ought to be making THAT kind of
salary. That is why so few of us can afford (with family or alone) to attend
a game - baseball, basketball, football, even hockey. Hell, for that matter,
concerts. Everything is greed!!! But who pays? Who satisfies their greed?
Some call it capitalism, and I understand & agree with that in principle,
but bottom line - I agree. The system is broken. How do I address it?, I
speak with my money. And they are not getting it.
This IS Very Very Crazy

Okay, I'm saying we are totally NDC now, but, with that said, I want to
comment on what rjc said.
Many years ago (1978?), I saw Buckminster Fuller speak (the other old
people in the group might remember him). One thing he said that stuck with
me: at that time, we had the technology and ability to raise the standard
of living of everyone on the planet to the then current highest standard of
living within a pretty short time frame (I don't remember the time frame he
gave - 5 years comes to mind). The only thing standing in the way, the only
thing preventing this was greed.
Just something to think about.
Now I'm going to read all this stuff about Rossi getting scammed, which
I've been avoiding so far.
