I would love to get a new promo from everyone over the next couple of months. While we push our individual local shows with more verve, a new promo from you would help. Especially if you haven't made one in a while or..ahem...EVER, Pretty much, unless you made one in the last three months, let's get a new one rolling. This is for all locally produced shows, music, talk, news. Maybe even individual segments that happen during Issues and Ideas! To help make this happen, I have enlisted my intern to help you. Bring a script and bring the choice of music you would like to represent your show and Felix will record you and put it all together. They need to be 28 seconds long. Prefer definitive starts to the music/announcement and a full note or faded ending or a natural cold ending, not a sudden and awkward chop of the music. Mention your name. Name of the show. What the show is about. Time and day the show is on. If you have room, mention that people can listen to it on-demand at kcbx.org . I will get a schedule from Felix of when he can be here to help you. He is excited to help. He wants to get going RIGHT NOW! If you don't need his help and can do it on your own, great! Get it done soon. If you have the ability to produce one from home if you record from home, then please do it soon. If you record from home but want to have help making one here, please sign up.
