Ha. I adore quality problems. Rode my friends 1290 Super Duke. Fell in love. short while later replaced 1200S Multistrada with a 1290 Super Adventure Which wasn’t bad off-road and fun as hell on road (SD made me feel foolishly invincible on public streets) Crashed the 1290 SA at the track when I fooled myself into trusting the front tire at Advanced speeds. I sense a theme here. Ironically my friend with the 1290SD stayed in C class which is the only dangerous class (inexperienced riders everywhere) if there is such a thing. I simply trusted the poor front tire because is was flawless. Until it wasn’t. The tire guys pretty much shrugged, said leave them at 30 psi, having no experience with ADV bikes I expect. Since then my friend totaled my ECX400 for me and I’m on his 2019 Multistrada while he heals. He owes me nothing, but someone should ride it. Out of all the bikes I’d take the 1290 SA with 17” spare front. And my new to me 690 Enduro. Lowered. Honda Hawk 650 is a great track bike.
