The other problem is “with Marquez present” might be a problem. Whatever is broken isn’t healing, Dovi seems to think he might get slotted in on the Honda for at least a few races next year, and in general, the rumors are rampant Marc isn’t healing. Alex Marquez says he doesn’t know why Dovi is waiting, Marc is trying to get healthy to be there at season start.  Either way I’ve had no problem with this seasons racing, the drama has been high and what I find most interesting is something unexpected - even though many races were back to back or in the case of Valencia, a triple, and every weekend the fast guys are different. It’s made fantasy league a guessing game.  Kudos to MotoGP for figuring this out and keeping the teams and sponsors alive.

Spectacular? Seriously? You might want to check back to the unridables era.. where were you in 2006,2007,2008,2009,. . What about  the last years with Lorenzo winning on the Ducati and Dovi beating Marquez? If you think this year was spectacular you need to watch the real battles with Rossi vs Gibernau, Biaggi, Lorenzo, Stoner..

Here, in case you haven’t seen them:

Rossi vs Lorenzo Cataluña: Even the commentator is exciting to listen to.

Stoner vs Rossi Laguna Seca.

Watch those two highlights and tell me what’s so spectacular about this season. LOL.

Stoner for one crushed the competition...total yawners. Individual races do not a season make and this season has been spectacular.

And of course, let’s remember that MM crashed while pushing hard because he knew he had to.

The last few laps with JackAss and Morbi this time around was pretty ok, I mean that’s like an extra normal race when Marquez is around. Also during the era of legends such as stoner, Lorenzo, Rossi, pedrosa, Hayden to name a few. Every race was exciting !! Always a battle!! Now it just sucks! Round and round until the last few laps and hope for some action.. WSBK is more excitin!

Boring? Perhaps, at times. But if something is so boring, why watch it.
That is why I do not watch American Football, or Cricket (as an equal
opportunity offender, I want to be able to offend sports fans on both sides
of the pond).
Now, while speaking of exciting racing to watch, let me take a moment to
compare MM to CS. Of course, I look back with tinted glasses, and muddy
memory, but it seems to me that CS was thrilling to watch because he could
ride that beast of a Ducati, making you think he was over the edge all the
time, but somehow managing it. He won by thrashing the nuts off an
unrideable motorcycle and crossing the finish line first. However insane he
made it look he was always in control of that bike. MM, on the other hand,
achieves a similar level of excitement by regularly stepping over the edge
of control, and then rescuing a crash, time after time, until,... he
didn't. Is he a better rider? I would say no. I would argue that he has, or
has developed, innate reflexes that allow for correcting what are actually
mistakes in piloting the bike; and was successful until he wasn't. Also,
and I'm sure someone with a better memory will correct me if I'm wrong, MM
has made more of a career running his competition off the track than CS did.
Now, where did all this come from? Beats the heck outta me. If the weather
here tomorrow is as warm as it was today, I'm going out for a ride, damnit.

Great run-thru right there. Stoner had raw speed and he was in style
spinning that rear tire into a corner. He was just in your face plain
racing no BS, except for that lactose intolerance BS. One Imodium would’ve
taken care of that..

Marquez can do the same in a more wacky way and his fighting and riding
abilities are just beyond unthinkable.
..Been watching him since 125. Guy still wins a race after crashing or
starting from pit lane or the back of the grid. He’s very aggressive which
most of you cry about. Don’t forget it’s only for our entertainment.
Nothing more..

Why do I still watch MotoGp? Because Rossi and Marquez93 are is still
there. I want them to kick each other again. LOL. But apart from that, I
like watching and learning the motorcycles’ evolution and I’m just hoping
for some great action, but nothing happened that’s really memorable this
season, except for the Zarco_Morbi incident. Hence, I can’t wait for MM93’s
return because he puts out a great show! It’s a show after all!
