Hey Larry, I've done a bunch of stuff to my 900SS over the years; steel to aluminum swingarm switch, solo seat, mild performance mods, but by far the best mod I've made so far is to install a Brembo RCS radial master cylinder on my front brakes. I went from three finger, squeezing hard, emergency braking to one finger, light pressure, emergency braking. I installed steel braided brake lines and sintered pads too so that helped. I know some of the more popular modifications have been to lighten the flywheel, lightweight wheels, and flat slide carbs. I got some nice effects by opening up my airbox by drilling some big holes in it, K&N filter, stage II jet kit, and some carbon fiber slip-ons. I ceramic coated the headers too. Someone told me it would help with scavenging exhaust gases but I just wanted it because it looks cool, no pun intended.
