Vicki,
I do have one of those (red one) and I believe the market should be
around $4.5K and $5K. it's a nice and reliable bike.
Thank you

My friend has been thinking of selling his 2003 999. It’s got (he
thinks) about 15,000 miles on it. It’s a BiP converted to a Mono,
should be current on it’s maintenances, has been ecu flashed and just
had belts and brakes. Needs a battery which I expect he will take care
of.

Bike is in South Florida. (photo attached)

Anybody familiar with the market on these now?

Vicki

Aesthetics aside, that's a hell of a lot of bike for $5k.

I agree Garth, that’s exactly what I told him.  But he has been riding his Diavel more, the 999 is just off a fresh service and even though he loves it much, he said he was going to sell it. If anyone is interested contact me (vicki@ducati.net) and I’ll put you in touch.

The styling of the 999 is always polarizing, but I dig them.  Not sure how
I feel about yellow Ducs (other than the Superlight of course).  Not that I
mind them, but I can't see myself riding a yellow bike, that's all.

Agreed, it's WAY more motorcycle than anyone needs and at the price of a
used FZ07.

In another world, that would be an awesome purchase for me, but I just
bought a vintage Suzuki T20 racebike and would probably have to get
divorced if I purchased a fifth bike for our tiny house. 😁
