Thanks Jean.
Kilskeery and Trillick appear to have been rather lawless places; almost every item I’ve located in newspapers of that period report instances of violence, murder and civil unrest – generally in the reported proceedings of the Omagh assizes. Some parishes in Ireland in those times were like that. However, I haven’t given up on that front; I’m always looking.
Please remember, I am nothing more than just an amateur!
All the best,
Len

Well, my goodness, that certainly clarifies the prohibition -- no fooling around there!!! Thanks again, Len.
And. . . if you happen to run across items associated with Kilskeery Parish, in Co. Tyrone, prior to about 1832 . . . and that you'd want to put into this database, I would be forever grateful!!
Thanks again for all your contributions. Jean in western Canada
