Hi. My line includes McGeagh of Townland of Unagh, Cty. Tyrone, Cookstown area in the late 1700's, including my GGG Grandmother Margaret McGeagh b1814 who married Thomas Knipe b1798 of Unagh. They lived at #25 Unagh in Griffiths Val.If anyone has info on this variation of the names covered here, I'd like to learn more.Thanks! I've got several McGeagh's  in late 1800s, earliest is James born about 1800 -marrying in to the Steele family. I also have a Knipe (b. about 1840)  marrying into the Steele family.

I am a "Steele" descendant (but not McGeagh).
