Talk about race craft, that was incredible. I was screaming so loud I scared the cat. Just beautiful.

Holy Smokes!!
I have not yelled and laughed at the monitor screen so much for quite a
while.
What a duel.
In that last pass, it looked like a bit of bodywork was thrown off one of
the bikes. A little scrape as Dovi passed?
I have never seen the Ducati crew so ebullient, particularly Tardozzi.
After 2 years in a row of going to Valencia for the last race, I decided to
give it a miss this time. I may have to reconsider that decision. Is Dovi
going to crawl back points over the next 7 races?
And, in his conversation with Simon after the race, Marquez mentioned
choosing the wrong tire, which leads me to a couple of questions:
Go Dovi.

Felt like excuses to me. Plus, in my mind when he said “I am Marc so I must try” I knew a pile of excuses were coming.
It came down to one corner and no one watching, not the crowd, either team or either rider really knew what way it would go. Even Dovi said he didn’t know if it would work. Until it did.
Great race. Great champions both.

This was the first MotoGP I've been able to watch in a very long time. Dang
satellite service! I either have a broken up/pixelated screen or I have no
signal at all. So glad to see this battle start to finish! :)

You really think MM93 needs an excuse?
He’s a 7x Champ, 5 of which is in the premier class and won in his first
year! Dominated MotoGp since 2013, even in 2015 he was still 3rd. MM93
pretty much bagged the 2019 season. I don’t think Dovi will ever win,
unless MM93 misses several Sundays.
As for the race:
Skip the race between the first 5 and last 5 laps. Snoozer in between.
Same ol story; Ducati winning in Austria (Ducati track) yet again. Quite
predictable to be honest.. What made the race exciting was Marquez trying
to stop the Ducati from repeating history. I was more focused on VR getting
a podium, but denied by El Diablo on a customer bike!
I’ve never heard Marquez moan and complain about anything even when he
doesn’t win. He’s pretty straight as an arrow. Dovi on the other hand has
become a moaner even when he wins.
And for Dovi’s last corner ‘move’ that everyone seems to be so electrified
about, I guess that’s something special for Dovi. I mean Lorenzo on the
Ducati won on the same corner.. I mean it was pretty good, but really
nothing to rave about.
Compare to how Marquez wins races or even how he saves crashes is 10 fold
more jaw dropping. If y’all really want to watch some spectacular draw
dropping races, I’d suggest to rewind to 2005 Jerez, 2009 Catalunya, 2008
Laguna Seca to name a few...
There was contact by the way at the last corner: Marquez’s brake lever
guard got caught somewhere on Dovi’s leather or bike, which almost caused
Marquez to crash. See attachment.. Marquez just brushed it off and says
it’s racing and that’s how he likes it.

I don’t disagree but he’s whining this time. He gave an interview and said “you think anybody will remember who won this race when I am champion?” He had been verbally sparring with Dovi all week and weekend. He said Dovi can’t get in my head. So I guess that wasn’t true.

Never heard of this interview that you speak of..When was this? It’s
unlikely of Marquez to say such remark. He’s always been humble...
Was it from a Spanish or Italian TV? They’re fake news. They like to make

Were there any verbal sparring during the Thursday press conf? (I haven’t
watched it yet)
