Hey all,
Many of you are tech-toy wonks.. and that’s good.
I’m reading about these things.
https://www.carbibles.com/best-jump-starters-reviewed/
Like many people, I keep a set of cables in my car for many reasons.
This looks more practical.. maybe.
Do any of you have experience with one?
Opinion on it?
Thanks.
..Tom
I have an older Stanley model that I use to jump my riding lawn mowers and inflate their tires. Works well.

I carry one like the smaller one on the right when I travel with my bike.
It saved me one cold, 29 degree morning when the lithium battery I thought
was a good idea was not up to the task. I had taken the jump charger
battery into the hotel room so it was warm enough to work.

I had an Anti-Gravity XP-1 which I sold to a friend to purchase the XP-10-HD.
https://antigravitybatteries.com/productline/micro-starts/
Very happy with both of them & they work when called upon. They have gone without charging for 6 months or so, & started a vehicle without issues.
I do not work for antigravity - Just a satisfied customer.

I've been saved by one of these Antigravity jump starters on my minivan
after the battery died sitting in an airport parking lot for a week. I
couldn't believe such a small little battery could do the trick, but it
certainly did. As a thank you, I bought my own. I try to charge it every
3 months or so, and just leave it in my van for emergencies. I should
probably throw it in the bike though. Can't recommend it enough.

Agree I carry the XP-1 on whatever motorcycle I take on a trip. Them bigger one I keep in my F-150. Before I start atrip I make sure the XP-1 is charged. - Gene

Ha, no, none of my Ducs has had one. Given past repeat rectifier issues (and a ton of off road riding), I can't say how many times I've bump started a bike. Give me the slightest dip in pavement and a bit of running room and I get it done!

I always just rode the bike into the motel with me when it was cold. But
hey, YMMV. ;-)
